Protected Amulet

It stands to reason that Roman soldiers adorned their shields with garnet for protection. The sanguine hue of a stone that looks danger in the eye and asks it to dance. Protecting the warrior from bloodshed because they’re already covered in it.   A hexagonal garnet has been armored in sterling silver and dangles from both a red and black strand of silk.
