For each wire termination on the back of the connector, there are two contact positions on the face of the connector networked together. Hermaphrocon connectors are all identical and mate at 180 degrees into each other. The MX-3227/G (M55074/4) is a hermaphroditic, hermetically sealed 26-pair contact insert assembly for use in the U-185/G, U-186/G and U-187/G (M55074 series) connector assemblies. The MX-3227/G features 26 pairs of fixed contacts that are internally parallel wired to corresponding solder tabs on the rear.
