Elephant Tapestry Pillow

This pillow’s exotic elephant image is inspired by a tapestry woven in the mid-eighteenth Century at Aubusson from a design attributed to Jean-Amedee Couderc. It was produced between 1840 and 1843 during the period when Orientalism was the trend.
