City of Diamond Bar The center occupies a prominent park bluff with views over the San Gabriel foothill, all the way to downtown Los Angeles. The architectural response is a warm and tactile material palette - natural stone and wood - and a grand north-and-view-facing curtain wall and events terrace. Diverse events, (formal affairs, teens, seniors, toddlers, hiking path), are carefully zoned and entered to allow for non-disruptive parallel activities. Project success is marked by its events venue being booked over a year in advance.
