Description: This is a 2000 redware figurine of a patriotic eagle having wide open spread wings with its head turned sideways. There are two large canons behind the eagle as well as a shield showing the stars and stripes in front of him. The eagle is glazed with brown colored body having black and yellow highlights and a yellow colored head. The piece is glazed entirely except for the base which shows the color of unglazed redware. The base shows the date and the name of the pottery as well as its location. This beautiful glazed redware patriotic eagle was made at the Breininger Pottery in Robesonia, Berks County Pennsylvania in 2000. Please see photo to appreciate the beautiful design and colors.
