Description: A beautiful pair of tall and heavy colonial style brass candlestick holders. The candlestick holders, which were made probably in the 1960s or 1970s, are marked on the bottom WM (for Winterthur Museum) Reproduction. The sticks have an ornate base with a repeat pattern that looks like a foot along the edge of the base. The central tall columns are shaped with the top looking like a flower supporting a tall and deep cup where the candle would fit. The column ends in a 1 3/8" deep and ~1" internal diameter cup where the candles would fit. The cup has a shaped edge. A beautiful pair of colonial reproduction brass candlestick holders to use around your home or to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Unknown but most likely last quarter of the 1960's or 1970's. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Size: Both pieces measure ~8 7/8" high with the base measuring ~5"
