Sketched Birds

"I was asked to create a fun piece connected to my culture." wrote Megan, the artist of this piece. I was inspired by the traditional Chinese calligraphy practice of flower drawing. I added a few birds to feel make it more "live". This is actually the sketch for GiftyWrap's other pattern Fairytale birds. It was so beautiful we decided to sell both patterns.  Created by Megan Christa from Indonesia, a self-taught digital artist and whose work is mostly inspired by Korean, Chinese, and Japanese artwork and culture, also adding soft pastel colors as her main focus. Drawing has always been a hobby for Megan, she began creating digital art in 2017. Megan has never had a formal course related to art, but she always had great support from her family and friends. This support allowed Megan to grow into the artist she is today!
