This is an overbuilt, high-performance armor with built-in redundancies. Standalone armor. Full ceramic fragmentation control (spall) on the strike face with GTS ShardLock™ technology. Clean, "no lines" look on the strike face. Shooter's Cut or SAPI Cut (for weights, select variant). Tested to resist multiple rounds of .30 M2AP* plus other threats. 100% USA hard, high-temp rash edge protects ceramic edge during normal use. Better than competitor plates: We use a crack arrestor, Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene (UHMWPE) backers (no glass) and a 99%+alumina ceramic tile array.
