“Quiet Mountains” 4-5

A quiet snow topped mountain scene with the Little Dipper up above. Shirt base is a hemp/cotton blend.  What are appliqués? Appliqués are the art of creating images out of pieces of cut fabric and securing this art to another piece of fabric - in this case, a shirt. Unlike vinyl they will not crack. If they get a stain - you can give it a good scrub. Appliqués also add an additional tactile feel to the designs - children can feel how the design was created with their fingers - trace the mountains, count the stars, feel the bump from the snowbank onto the mountains.
