These two-shuttle Plain Weave projects yield a lovely set of ribbed placemats and charming, square-motif napkins that will add beauty to any table. Inspired by Rep Weave, the placemats use alternating thick and thin wefts and doubled warp threads for a denser sett, but intermittent skipped slots allow the weft to peek through the warp, creating vertical pops of color and borders. Horizontal and vertical stripes of different weight yarns in the napkins enhance the texture, adding a delightful touch. Order a kit.
