Hematite sphere earrings

These earrings feature round hematite beads accented with pewter spacer beads. Hematite is a mineral, colored black to steel or silver-gray, brown to reddish brown, or red. It is mined as the main ore of iron. It is said that Hematite is a stone that is used to ground or stabilize and for protection. The hematite shown is a pure gunmetal silver color and has no other colors or veins. Appearance of other color is simply a reflection. Earwires are handmade from sterling silver, but may be exchanged for surgical steel or titanium upon request.
