Maple/Curly Maple/Canary Wood Cutting Board

Handmade edge grain cutting board. Measures approximately 11x18x1.25" Edge grain cutting boards are constructed by gluing together strips of premium hardwoods side by side leaving the wood fibers to run horizontally. Edge grain cutting surfaces are considered knife-friendly and more hygenic compared to other materials like plastic or glass cutting boards. Knife marks on the board can easily be removed with a light sanding and application of a food grade mineral oil and wax to reveal a fresh, new cutting surface.
