Coopered Butter Bowl Petrus Regout Maastricht

A banded white ironstone butter bowl with applied handles, made in a coopered design with the textured outside surface giving the appearance of a banded wooden barrel.Made in the Netherlands by Dutch manufacturer Petrus Regout. Backstamp dates the piece to 1890.The bowl is imperfect, with staining and a couple of star cracks at the bottom.
