Fender Precision Bass Blonde 1962 GLAS Custom Relic feather Light at 8lb LUSH
Here we have a Glas Customs Precision Bass build inspired by the golden-era 1962 P-Bass — finished in translucent honey blonde and relic’d as part of our 2025 Fall Collection. The alder body is lightweight at just 8 lbs, resonant and balanced when played acoustically. The finish has been UV-bombed to simulate decades of natural exposure, then cracked, yellowed, and dulled through a true lacquer-aging process. Every screw, plate, and piece of hardware has been carefully relic’d, and the parchment plastics have taken on a perfect, played-in glow. Butt-end board wear adds to the authenticity — the kind of detail you only see on true vintage Fenders. This one is a heavy relic with all the right scars. The genuine Fender neck has been fully refinished in nitrocellulose lacquer, hand-sanded to a smooth, played-in feel, and finished off with tasteful relic work. The edges are hand rolled, the frets have been dressed, crowned, and polished, and it’s topped off with a hand-shaped nut. The rosew
