Here we have a Glas Customs Stratocaster build — a true homage to one of the greatest guitarists of all time, David Gilmour, and his legendary Candy Apple Red Strat. Famously his number one from the early 1980s through 2010, the original was a 1957 reissue finished in candy apple red, modified and played on countless Pink Floyd tours and recordings. This Glas Guitars build is a hand-crafted recreation of that iconic instrument, finished in relic candy apple red and built in Los Angeles as part of our Fall 2025 Collection. The genuine Fender neck is a soft V ’57-style maple piece that’s been relic’d to simulate decades of play: rolled edges, crowned/dressed/polished frets, and a hand-shaped nut. It’s finished in hand-rubbed nitro for a smooth, played-in feel. The vintage decal is lightly aged, and the pocket fit is tight and stable — exactly how a pro Strat should feel.
