Introducing the summer of 2023 Glas Custom collection, focusing on pre CBS classics from 61'-64'..... Custom hand finished and heavy relic Vintage 2 piece Ash crimson burst USA fender tele, with maple neck. With fender vintage tolex hardcase. This is a riff on a 64/65 pre CBS style tele, completely hand reliced hear in LA. This started life as a 94/95 US standard that has been completely striped, rebuilt, rewired and hand relic’d inside and out. Rare 2 piece ash body has a gorgeous translucent candy apple “crimson” burst finish (or what left of it!) that has been sanded from 400-5000 grit to achieve a lush Matt finish. Heavy relic work through to the gold metallic, right to the wood. Every metal piece to the last screw has been relic’d with attention to detail, inside and out, finished with a 3 ply parchment guard Best of the best components used, with the axe sporting full vintage wiring but with modern grounding.
