Steve Jobs challenged us to Think Differently. I challenge guitarists to Be Different, Be Original. After all, YOU AREN’T a carbon copy of just another guitarists, are YOU? Sure you have your favs, your influences, and yes honor those guitarists, as you should. However, they would all tell you at some point you have to find yourself in the music and the instrument you play as well. So BE DIFFERENT, BE ORIGINAL and own a guitar whose DIFFERENT shape and various tones could inspire you to not only play differently but even venture into new areas of musicality. My scratch built original designs and their shapes are all inspired by the traditional guitar designs and various other things, people, places I’ve been, things I’ve done or thoughts that came to mind (a nod to my guitar named Watermelon), and life in general.
