Oregano Essential Oil

This is a Greek Oregano which comes from Spain. It is steam distilled and has  an aroma that is herbal, spicy, earthy. The carvacrol content is in the mid to high 60% range with a thymol content of 15% to 16%.  Carvacrol and thymol: These compounds have been found to retard the growth of both gram-positive and and gram negative bacteria They have an antifungal and most important these days antibiofilm. (Antibiofilm means it can knock a hole in the film surrounding a bacteria and allow your white blood cells to kill it.) "Superbugs" are know to have biofilms.
