"Robin's Nest" Hand Dyed Yarn - Variegated blue-green speckles on vanilla cream - sock/fingering weight
Our "Robin's Nest" sock yarn reminds us of beautiful, speckled blue eggs snuggled into a mound of woven sticks. We dye this wool a creamy vanilla color, then dip-dye its tip in sage (which turns blue against the buttery cream), and finish with a light speckling of browned butter yellow. It plays nicely with a number of our other colorways and could be part of a lovely fade project. This dyeing technique makes assigned pooling projects easy, or the merino will knit or crochet up with any pattern, giving you pretty little hits of color throughout.
