The star here is Shirley Chisholm, the first African American elected to Congress in 1968. She was a fierce protector of women's rights and civil rights. In 1972, she was the first black person to run for a major party nomination, as well as the first woman to run for the Democratic Party nomination for President. The words "Unbought and Unbossed" refer to the book former United States Representative Chisholm authored, as well as to her integrity (she was not in the pocket of anyone). This large format sticker will look great on your notebook, water bottle, laptop, or wherever you'd like to stick it. It's roughly 3x2, or about the size of a business card (a little wider). See our shop for the other designs in this series of nine. Choose matte or glossy waterproof vinyl.  BONUS: Easy-Peel die-cut sticker.
