Zisha Kettle

These gorgeous and amazing kettles are the product of years of work. With the help of Master Zhou Qi Kun, we spent years discussing, learning and prototyping this kettle. It is difficult to find a purple-sand kettle made of the right material that also functions well. This kettle is made from forty-year-old zisha ore and the shape was designed to pour smoothly and function well. We are very happy with the end result, both in terms of the effect the kettle has on water and also the handling in terms of the spout, the weight, the pour and so on. This kettle is a dream to use, and is in many ways the ultimate gongfu kettle for us. Yixing clay cannot be used on gas or electric burners like infrared or induction plates. If you want to be safe, please use this kettle on alcohol only (boiling water in another kettle and then using this one to brew).
