Well, actually the design is old but the addition to our standard black drop pants is the new handwoven and hand dyed 100% cotton textile called Danfani - coming from Burkina-Faso, West Africa. Makhosi Temple - a Temple to preserve indiginous culture and traditions - introduced Glorka to "Danfani" textiles from Burkina Faso in 2021 and we already finished a few collections using this magnificent fabric. “Danfani” are the traditional textiles hand-loomed & handstiched together. 🙏🏻 100% woven cotton is softened & dyed with leaves, bark, & fermented river mud.🌊🌿🪵 Together with Makhosi Temple in Fallbrook, CA we want to support local artisans & indigenous women of Burkina Faso, West Africa.
