Bio, Nitrifying Bacteria, 8oz pump bottle Bio contains strains of both Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria. Nitrosomonas strains metabolize ammonia, caused by fish waste and organic breakdown, and produce nitrite. Nitrobacter strains convert nitrite into nitrate, a macro-element plants need to survive. Dosing Bio will promote the conversion of ammonia into nitrite and nitrite into nitrate. Analysis:  Nitrifying bacteria, Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter strains, amino acids, carbon. 1 pump ~ 2cc, contains 0.3-0.5 billion CFU nitrifying bacteria. Dosages: - For new tanks (1-3 months old) dose 1 pump per 5 galllons weekly - For mature tanks dose 1 pump per 10 gallons weekly - For water changes dose 2 pumps per 10 gallon of new water Includes 2cc output pump for easy dosing.Shake well before use.Made in USA
