K2SO4 should never be the limiting factor for plant growth. Dosing additional K2SO4 will not cause algae growth. K, Potassium Fertilizer is a key part of the NPKM fertilizer set for maximum control over fertilization. K, Potassium should be used together with N, Nitrate and P, Phosphate, as well as Micronutrient fertilizer.  The NPKM fertilizer set can be used for easy E.I. (estimative index) style dosing.
