BBS/Fish Gelatin is a blocking solution for ELISA. It may also be used as a coating solution. BBS, or, Borate-Buffered Saline, with Fish Gelatin is a great choice for its lack of cross-reactivity with Protein A or mammalian antibodies. Research is showing that coating with fish gelatin may be an effective option for extending the shelf-life of commercial fish fillets and fresh-cut produce. BBS/Fish Gelatin is provided as a 10X concentration. For use in ELISA or Western Blot, dilute 100 mL in 1 L of distilled water and adjust pH as desired.
