Bradford Dye Concentrate 5X

Bradford Dye Concentrate, 5x Bradford method utilizes Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye, which binds to an unknown protein and forms a complex that can be detected spectophotometrically at 595nm. The Bradford method is a popular choice for protein quantitation. Bradford Dye Concentrate, 5x is designed to quantitate 1-10 µg/ml protein but can be scaled up to quantitate 10-100 µg/ml simply by increasing the volume of the dye and generating a standard curve. Before use in assay, dilute Bradford Dye Concentrate 5X at 1:5 in distilled water and filter as desired.
