MOC From Designer: brick_squadron Introduction To MOCs: The F-104 Starfighter is my favorite jet fighter in history. This "Missile with a man in it", while underperforming in terms of safety and having a short service life with the USAF found limited success with NATO countries including Germany and Canada. While it was used extensively, it still earned the nickname of the "Widowmaker". By 1967, all USAF F-104s were transferred to the Air National Guard and it was fully retired by 1975. One service that did find great use of the F-104 was NASA.
