Rubber Leg Pad - Medium -

Medium Size, thick and durable rubber leg pad helps prevent damage to your clothing and leg/knee during percussion knapping and provides support when pressure flaking. These rubber pads are approx 8 x 13 inches and 1/4 inch thick, made recycled rubber and provide a protective platform for your clothes and leg. Rubber leg pads are a modern equivalent of traditional leather pads. When using cow leather, most knappers need two layers to avoid a sore leg after a day of knapping. Only one layer is usually needed when using these rubber pads.  Tip: We find that layering a rubber pad underneath a leather pad is the best of both worlds and affords more puncture resistance than one pad alone. Replace when worn.
