Turkestan Red Runner Roaches (Shelfordella lateralis) Sold as a mix of small to medium nymphs, from pinhead to 7/8" in size, depending on our stock.  If you prefer a certain size, please indicate desired sizes in Order Comments and we will do our best to accommodate. Extremely fast and active. Ideal for triggering the prey drive and hunting instincts of reluctant eaters of all types of insectivores and omnivores, such as amphibians, arachnids, scorpions, and reptiles. Very similar to crickets in movement and appearance. Most commonly sold feeder roach in the world. The highest meat to exoskeleton ratio of all the roaches. Can be kept at room temperature with minimal care, allowing for bulk purchasing. Cannot climb glass surfaces and incapable of full flight, so escape potential is minimal.  Breed very rapidly in specific conditions, with females achieving full size and reproductive age at 2-3 months.
