1981 Boston Celtics NBA Championship Ring
Ring from the 1981 NBA Championship winning Boston Celtics that belonged to a former well known player who received this as an assistant coach. The ring was made by Balfour out of 14k yellow gold and features a prominent center mounted diamond surrounded by a green stone. The right shank features an enameled clover and the opposite a green enameled NBA logo. This 1981 NBA title would be the first of 3 Championships during the Larry Bird era. The Boston legend was accompanied by Robert Parish and Kevin McHale, who collectively came to be known as the "big three." They would face off against Houston's stars Moses Malone, Rick Barry (in the final year of his career) and Calvin Murphy.
