Crassula ovata 'Hobbit Jade'

The 'Hobbit Jade' is a succulent shrub that can grow to around 3 feet. The plant has green leaves with vibrant red tips, with a depression in the center. As with the majority of the 'Jade' family, Hobbits thrive in bright, full sun. Water deeply and allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. These plants can tolerate a very light frost, but thrives in warmer temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Hobbits flower between mid-winter to early spring, producing star-shaped white or pink clusters.
