Neuman N.W. Corner Pearl & Elm Sts. New York and the cartouche area of the map in the upper left corner indicates Compiled by S.R. STODDARD, Glens Falls, N.Y. Second Revised Edition 1882.  Stoddard’s map of the Adirondacks Wilderness was first published in 1880 and revised and reissued almost annually well into the 20th century. Copious detail is provided for the area extending from Lewis, Watson, Grieg and Croghan counties in the west to Lake Champlain in the east and from Saratoga and Fulton Counties in the south to Franklin Clinton and St. Lawrence counties in the north.    This map is f
