The poster features a portrait of General John S. “Blackjack” Pershing by the noted portrait artist Samuel Johnson Woolf along with text of a cable Pershing sent heartily endorsing the YMCA for support provided to American troops in France. This poster shows light handling wear including a short tear without loss at the bottom edge, light creasing to the lower corners and modest toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
