Drawn by Emily Edwards. Published by San Antonio Conservation Society, 1926 The lower left corner is printed “Copyrighted 1926 by Emily Edwards”.   Emily Edwards along with Rena Maverick Green founded the San Antonio Conservation Society in 1924 and was instrumental in preserving many important historical sites throughout the city and also in developing what would eventually became the San Antonio River Walk.  Edwards was a graduate of the Chicago Art Institute and a lifelong friend of Diego Rivera.  This map was later reissued but the origi
