A powerful eagle swoops down, strikes and destroys a Japanese Mitsubishi G3M “Nell” bomber emblazoned with meatball insignias lending credence to the old saying about “no better friend and no worse enemy”. The iconic USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem appears in the upper left hand corner of the image underscoring the poster’s appeal to patriotic Americans to Wear the Fightin’est wings in the service – FLY WITH THE MARINES.
