The Stratovision system was designed to use a fleet of 14 dedicated aircraft to provide coverage for the nascent broadcast television medium to about 80% of the United States population. The Stratovision television system was never implemented but the technology was refined and used in different ways including for television propaganda purposes in the Vietnam War. This poster has a Mid-Century Modern style design and the lower margin is printed “Bulletin No. 114 – Post September 17, 1945”.
