The Fisherman’s Bastion Neo-Romanesque terraces offer a superb panoramic view of the city while the seven high-pitched stone towers symbolize the seven chieftains of the Magyars that founded Hungary in 895. The lower margin shows the photo credit to Balogh Rudolf who is honored today as the namesake of the Balogh Rudolf Prize, Hungary’s most prestigious professional photography award.  The lower margin also indicates “Printed By Athenaeum” and “Printed In Hungary”. This poster is a vintage original from the 1930s and is in very good condition with no tape or pinholes. The poster shows some modest handling wear and toning to the paper from age.
