At the outbreak of the Second World War Kauffer returned to the United States where his skill was deployed to create several wartime posters in support of the Allied cause. This post-war poster retains some of the Modernist style elements associated with Kauffer’s earlier poster work in depicting supersized tulips set a distant windmill somewhere in the lush Dutch countryside while inviting the viewer to Fly Pan American – The World’s Most Experienced Airline.The vintage original poster has rich color and displays beautifully with only a tear
