The legend of the Pied Piper of Hameln traces back to the Middle Ages and has become beloved folklore appearing in the writings of the Brothers Grimm, Goethe and Robert Browning among others.  “Sorns Hameln” is signed in print in the lower right corner of the image area.  The lower margin is printed Offsetdruck Gebrüder Jänecke, Hannover.  This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen and is in excellent condition.
