Date: c.1956Artist: Asiart Size (in): 40” x 25”Size (cm): 101.6 x 63.5Condition: A-Linen backed: No   This vintage original poster was issued by Air-India International in the mid to late 1950s.   This colorful poster features a stylized image of Indian passengers riding in a cart pulled by a team of oxen as a modern Lockheed Super Constellation airliner flies over in the sky above.   This poster isn’t dated but the airplane shown in the image is a Lockheed Super Constellation with rectangular windows rather than the round windows associated with the earlier variants of the Lockheed Constellation.  The Super Constellations entered service with Air India International in June 1954 so we would date this poster to around that same mid 1950s time period.  The name “Asiart” appears in print in the lower right corner and the margin just below is printed “Bombay Fine Art Offset And Litho Works, Bombay 27”.  This is a lightly used vintage original poster with no tape or pinholes and moderate
