Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket Sealer Effective for prevention of head shear friction between head and block as they heat and cool down at different temps. Microscopic movement interaction between a head gasket and a cylinder block deck surface or a cylinder head is described as frictional and shear behavior of the cylinder head gasket.  Fast-drying Permatex copper spray-a-gasket sealer helps to dissipate heat, prevent gasket burnout, and improve heat transfer. It seals instantly while filling hot spots and minor surface irregularities. With a temperature range of -50 degrees F to 500 degrees F (-45 C to 260 C), it's perfect for cylinder head gaskets, carburetor gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, and other high-temperature applications. Note: Use a thin coat only! Too much copper coat will cause a leak. Lightly coat the gasket on both sides, just enough to cover the gasket.  Volume:9 oz.
