This is an exceptionally nice vintage professional model wooden clarinet by Martin Freres. Martin Freres is an old French maker dating to the 1740’s. This instrument has been completely overhauled in our shop with new double-skin pads and corks, nickel-plated keys. No cracks. Mechanism tight. A sweet-playing medium-bore French clarinet with outstanding quality wood. In its original case with the original mouthpiece. This company made a variety of models, and this represents a better model instrument. We have no serial number lists for Martin Freres, but we estimate this clarinet to be from the 1960s or 1970s.
