Penzel Mueller was a fine old American company that operated until the 1950s. Their clarinets were considered among the best U.S.-made instruments, and several professional clarinetists played them, including Woodie Herman. We are offering this Penzel Mueller Pacemaker Bb clarinet. We estimate this #U3605B was made in the 1940s. We restored this with new pads and corks. The mechanism is tight, with no cracks. Raw nickel-plated keys. Comes with a case and Noblet hard rubber mouthpiece. $395 plus shipping. Please see the photographs.
