This is a lovingly restored vintage French-made Selmer Series 9 * professional Bb wood clarinet, serial number U1844. We estimate that it was made in 1965. A great modern professional clarinet well-suited for all band and orchestral playing. No cracks. The mechanism is tight. Nickel-plated keys. Has been completely overhauled with new double-skin pads and corks. In the original Selmer case with Woodwind Co. K10M professional mouthpiece. Many consider the Series 9* to be among the best clarinets ever made by Selmer, and the quality of wood found in this instrument won’t likely be found in newer ones.
