Selmer Paris Series 9 Professional Model Clarinet Circa 1959

This is a lovingly restored vintage French-made Selmer Series 9 professional Bb wood clarinet, serial number R8618. We estimate that it was made in 1959. A great modern professional clarinet well-suited for all band and orchestral playing. No cracks. The mechanism is tight. Nickel-plated keys. It has been completely overhauled with new double-skin pads and corks. Has had a chip professionally repaired in the bell tenon. In a good case with the Selmer HS** hard rubber mouthpiece. Many consider the Series 9 to be among the best clarinets ever made by Selmer, and the quality of wood found in this instrument is unlikely to be found in newer ones.
