In the 1970s, Yamaha introduced the YCL-81 as its top line handmade professional model clarinet to compete directly with the Buffet R-13. This #01082 has been completely overhauled with new pads and corks. It is in superb condition with silver-plated keys. The mechanism is tight, and the wood has no cracks. It comes with two original barrels (64.5 and 66 mm), Yamaha 4C mouthpiece and new ProTec case. Many players consider the YCL-81 to be great for both orchestra and jazz playing, being a bit more flexible than the R-13. Please see the photos.
