(English, 1804-1867).Title: Views of the Metropolis.Titled and Signed by the publisher at the bottom of the sheet: Printed by Bradshaw & Blacklock, Licensees, Manchester, by Baxter Patent Process. In the center of the sheet is a miniature of The Great Exhibition. Around the central miniature are eight signed views of London.Dimensions: Image 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Backing card & 1/8" x 8 3/4".Publisher: Bradshaw & Blacklock, Licensees, Manchester.Date: 1851-1853.Materials and Techniques: Baxter-process print pasted on a card.Mat and Frame: Impression mounted on wove paper, gold line typography backing card. Condition:  Fresh colors, no wear. The engraving was stored in the album for so long that a part of the paint from the surface was offsetting to the previous page and soaked into it.
