She  was soon discovered by local shop owners in the West Village of Manhattan  and began creating her jewelry line.  Years later she pursued her interest in psychology in graduate school at Columbia University   but  was compelled to return to jewelry design. Today her jewelry is sold in boutiques, specialty stores and museum shops around the US, Japan, Hong Kong, the UK and  Europe.
