FP16 Felted Lion Portrait (14x18) Brown Growl

This needle felted original artwork features fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece. I created this lion portrait with a focus on dark brown and white fiber with black accents (only the eyes are from dyed roving). This growling lion is mounted on a rust-colored felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass).  The portrait measures 14 x 18". The frame measures 16 x 20".
