FP69 Felted Lion Portrait (19x23) Fawn Multi | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This lion portrait features natural fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece. I created this lion portrait by needle felting fawn, brown, beige and white fiber for a rich finished look. The piece includes black and grey accents (only the eyes are from dyed roving). The artwork is loaded with fleece and is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass). The frame measures 19.5 x 23.5" and includes D-rings/wire for hanging.
